All our employees are bound by confidentiality agreements and have been trained to implement the provisions of the German Data Protection Law. All the data we collect is stored exclusively on secure servers located in Germany.

Personal data

The German Data Protection Law defines personal data as any item of information which may help to establish your identity. Personal data therefore includes your name, your postal address, your e-mail address and your telephone number. prudsys AG uses this information, for example, to answer your enquiries or to send you our newsletter if you are already a subscriber.

prudsys AG uses your personal data for the purposes of administering the website, enabling your access to special information and for otherwise making contact with you. When you visit the prudsys AG website we collect items of general information. We collect the following information: the web pages accessed; the date and time of access; the address of the source from which you accessed our website; the data volume transferred; the browser used; the operating system used; the client request; the HTTP code; the IP address of the requesting system. prudsys AG uses this information to improve the attractiveness, content and functionalities of its website. This information is also collected to ensure the availability and security of our website. Only duly authorized persons are allowed to access this data. Evaluation of this user data in order to reach an individual person is not permitted. This data is not utilized for other purposes and is not disclosed to third parties. This data is used for statistical purposes only and is anonymized. After statistical evaluation has been completed, prudsys AG deletes this data.

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small files which are temporarily saved to your hard drive. Cookies are used to collect information about the use of the prudsys AG website. They enable our website to automatically recognize your computer the next time you visit the prudsys AG website. You can set your browser settings to automatically accept cookies. You can also change your browser settings and use the prudsys AG website without cookies. However, if you decline to use cookies we cannot guarantee that all the functions of our website will operate.

Use of contact data

If you send us your personal contact details using our contact form (https://prudsys.de/en/contact) or by sending us an e-mail, your personal data (e.g. name or e-mail address) will only be used for communications with you. Other uses are not envisaged. Other uses are only permitted when you are informed about the purpose of these beforehand and have given your prior, express consent.

Mailing of our newsletter

If you would like to receive our newsletter we require a valid e-mail address so that we can send it to you. You can also provide other data on a voluntary basis. Voluntary data include: your title; first name; last name; position or name of the company where you are currently employed. These data will then be used to personalize the newsletter so that, for example, you will be addressed with a personal salutation and your proper title. To make the log-on procedure traceable, we save the time and IP address of the log-on. To optimize the relevance of our newsletter content we record your reaction to our newsletter using page opening and click behavior to build a user profile. Data collected in this way is used solely for our e-mail marketing activities. Subscribers to the newsletter can at any time interrupt these communication services by unsubscribing via the link provided in the newsletter. This also has the effect of declining the use of your data for this purpose. If you change your personal details (e.g. your e-mail address), you can do this by informing prudsys AG by e-mail at the address: marketing@prudsys.com

If you book a personal web session with prudsys AG via https://prudsys.de/en/websession/, we will require the following personal information for this purpose: first name, last name, company name and e-mail address.

You can download product information, case studies and white papers from the prudsys AG website. We will gladly send you this material by surface mail, too. Disclosure of personal data to third parties

If your personal data are disclosed by prudsys AG to a service provider for the purposes of order processing, prudsys AG is bound by the provisions of the German Data Protection Law (BDSG). Your personal data will only be disclosed to public authorities after a check by our Data Protection Managers and on the basis compulsory legal requirements or court orders.

Linking to third-party services and content

In some cases our webpages have links to third-party content such as YouTube videos (https://www.youtube.com/user/prudsys), maps from Google Maps and RSS feeds. To display this type of content it is necessary to send your IP address to the third-party provider concerned. Without the IP address it will not be possible to send this content to the browser of the current user. We make every effort to ensure that the provider only uses the IP address for the purposes of delivering the content. However, we have no powers should the third-party provider decide to save the IP address for other purposes (e.g. for statistical evaluation). In cases where this comes to our attention, we will inform the user.

Saving and transferring data for statistical purposes to third-parties

prudsys AG uses the Google Analytics tool for the statistical evaluation and optimization of our web pages. Google Analytics is a web analysis service of Google Inc. (Google). We make every effort to protect your personal data despite the implementation of Google Analytics on our site. To protect your personal data we have a written agreement prepared by Google relating to order data processing. A draft version of the agreement can be viewed at http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.pdf. It describes the purpose of data collection and the anonymizing and analysis of your user data. You can find out more about the user terms and conditions and data privacy of Google Analytics under https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html and under https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files stored on your computer. Google uses these cookies to collect and analyze information about your website usage. This in turn makes it possible for prudsys AG to analyze website usage by you. Information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. By activating IP anonymization, Google truncates your IP address before analysis is started. This ensures that your data are anonymized when processed. This means that it should not be possible for Google to identify you or to merge your personal data with other data about you collected elsewhere and stored by companies. When prudsys AG transmits IP addresses it uses the anonymizing option offered by Google using the “anonymizeIp” code. This is known as IP masking and ensures that IP addresses are anonymized when collected. In addition you also have the option of preventing the collection and analysis of your user data by Google Analytics. You can control the use of cookies in your browser settings. You can limit or even block the cookies for this service. You can also prevent the collection and analysis of your user data by downloading and installing the browser plug-in offered by Google from the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. In addition, prudsys AG offers the Opt-Out-Cookies option which when set prevents the collection of your data on future visits to our website. Google Analytics deactivatedprudsys AG also uses Google Analytics to analyze statistical data from Google AdWords. If you do not wish us to do this you can disable the setting using the Ads Preferences Manager under http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=de. Please note that if you select one or more of the above options limiting the collection and analysis of personal data, you might not be able to fully use all functions offered by our website in some circumstances.
