prudsys AG, specialist in personalization software, launches major release 3.8.0 for the prudsys RDE. The release includes a number of new features for an automatic personalized customer approach across all sales channels. One of the many improvements is that individual checks for recommendations are now processed up to 35% faster.

The advantages of 1:1 marketing can now be applied seamlessly across all retail channels from online shops and newsletter campaigns to call centers. Real-time personalization has even arrived on the high street. The prudsys Realtime Decisioning Engine (prudsys RDE for short) makes it possible for retailers to offer customers a unique shopping experience at all touchpoints. Major release 3.8.0 of the prudsys RDE is now available with new features that provide many additional benefits for a successful personalized customer approach.

Improved performance for product and content recommendations

The prudsys RDE offers extensive filter options for generating recommendations. The runtime of the filter logic in the module prudsys RDE | Recommendations, which forms the basis for calculating the recommendations, has been improved. Individual checks are now processed up to 35% faster.

Up-to-the-minute and relevant newsletter distribution

Personalized product recommendations form an important part of newsletter content. To ensure that the newsletters are up-to-the-minute and as relevant as possible, the module prudsys RDE | Newsletter selects the recommendations for every single recipient as soon as the email is opened. The prudsys RDE provides so-called text images for the newsletter distribution. These usually contain product images and information as well as prices. With the new release, these text images can now also be calculated in real time. In other words: Up-to-the-minute changes can now be taken into account in the product master data. This improvement has further enhanced performance.

Innovative processes for productive dynamic pricing

One of the functions of the module prudsys RDE | Pricing, which has been developed for dynamic price optimization, is to simulate the effects of various strategies and predict how successful they will be. A new pricing type has been developed in addition to familiar processes such as individual price optimization, price reduction optimization and bundling. This means that new algorithms that are still under development can be rolled out quickly. Furthermore, the “optimization goal” parameter, which enables fine-tuning between sales optimization and profit optimization, is now available for every pricing process.

“By integrating new features, we are continuously working to optimize our software,” says Jens Scholz, Managing Director of prudsys AG. “Our current focus, besides the development of new business cases, is to improve usability for the user. The new user interfaces in the modules prudsys RDE | Pricing and prudsys RDE | Scoring give an indication of where we are headed,” says Scholz.
